Pandora - Music Genome Project's Result

Alright, guys, some freaks spent five years mapping out the "musical genes" of over 10,000 songs.  Now they know how music works.  You gotta look at www.pandora.com.  It's free.  You put in a song or artist that you like, and it generates a streaming 128kb/s bitrate radio station with similar songs.  It works extremely well, and you can tweak the stations you make to play songs more to your taste.

This sounds pretty interesting. Even though i doubt that it'll work out that perfectly..
I'll give it a try.

You do have to work at it to get it to really give you good results.  Usually it gives me something that I least enjoy, and from time to time it'll unearth something amazing.  It does give me songs I don't like, though, in which case you tell them you don't like the song, and it skips that song and no longer plays it or songs like it.

It's kind of like a game to fine tune your station settings to play the *exact* style of music you'd like.
