Favorite Electronic Artists

Some of the greatest albums for many of the up-and-coming DJ's and bands came out in the past year. Some old favorites, some new surprises, but what were your favorites?

A couple that didn't make my list but deserve mentioning include the new Prodigy album "Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned", The Postal Service's "Give Up". Tiesto has just released a new album, but it's nothing to write home about, and it appears Jokenfold (Paul Oakenfold) may be picking up steam.

And I think the Killers are electronic enough to be put on the list, by the by. ;-)

even though she's a bit more for the girls, takako minekawa's Ximer was an interesting mix

in the s.f. - Sweet Trip, Junior Varsity Km, and I am Robot and Proud are excellent

Aphex Twin is always good, so are Cylob, Jega, D'arcangelo

i loved K&D, and now enjoy Peace orchestra and Dorfmeister`s stuff. i like also Bonobo(everything), Lamb(What Sound), Air(Premiere Symptoms and Moon Safari, i hate the rest), Tiga, City Centre Offices` stuff and some prog/dub house djs. :P

I'm surprised nobody mentioned The Flashbulb on here.

Apoptygma Berzerk and Beborn Beton are both worth looking into. Brilliant I say.

The Tuss is pretty good.

I recently found out about Rephlexions!, a compilation of stuff on the Rephlex label. I highly recommend it.. everything from some nice ambient-y stuff from Bochum Welt and some twisted offerings from Cylob etc.

i also really enjoy bogdan raczynski, he's like absurdist drum'n'bass with weird melodies but awesome.
