Eurobeat / Italo Disco.

Fancheck if anyone likes this, and is preferably smarter than Initial D and ParaParaParadise shit tards.

(You can be either, but like more than just the screamy girl shit.)

Anything from Hero / ALEPH to Superbad / NIKO ... it's all good.

Eurobeat is a guilty pleasure..
Sadly, the SEB used in ID & PPP is some of the best, imho.
Listening to SEB cds is rather painful at times.

Superbad by Niko is superbad... DJ NRG and Gino Caria all the way

Name: Anonymous 2005-01-18 16:59

The "Disco Nouveau" anthology on Ghostly International is pretty neat.  It's got tracks by DMXKrew, Legowelt, Susumu Yokota, Hong Kong Counterfeit, etc...

You obviously do not know what we are talking about...

Can't stand Euro/Italo. It's just too cheezy to me.

Eurobeat is house music's happy hardcore.

Yeah, that's completely different, but much more awesome.

Name: Skyline 2005-01-24 4:54

SEB is still more listenable than Euromach.  Gyah >_<

Name: Anonymous 2005-12-23 19:57

I dislike DDR trash like Eurobeat but Italo and other genres of that sort that use the vocoder are pretty bad ass.  Never get tired of that stuff.

Name: Hiromaru 2006-01-02 19:40

HOMG! imma parapara freak! i<3eurobeatz!!

but yea. everyone knows hyper techno is better. its basically rap+techno~ i mainly like it cause it has TechPara (see avex website~) artists like DJ Zorro and E-rotic seem to be the main artists. Hyper techno is really small, nothing like the Eurobeat mountain >_< but i like it better. i mean, would you rather people catch you listening to Too Young To Fall In Love/Edo or Fuckin' Cuerpo [Mission"Hmx"Re-Edit]/DJ Zorro?

XD anyway, i have like, 20 gigs of eurobeat and 12 gigs of parapara media :)

OVERRULED!  Eurobeat is one of the best goddamn types of music out there, and I can prove it.

Note: Especially since I have a Hard Drive dedicated to Eurobeat.

AGE : I have about 28 gigs. Most of today's drives are much larger than that.

SAGE : Don't you mean the 40 megger in your 386 ?

Surprised the thread survived an entire year...

Name: Anonymous 2006-02-28 16:23

Yes, AMERICAN loves supereurobeat. But get this, EUROPEAN hates supereurobeat. EUROPEAN think supereurobeat sucks!

I'm Canadian, and I like SUPER EUROBEAT.
I wish they sold the CDs in stores here ;_;

Shocking!

Go to HMV, and ask for SEB120. If you're willing to pay 75 $ for something 5 years old and all over the interweb.

Foreigners should stop listening to our music. Eurobeat is for European consumption only. Get your own damn music.

Name: Anonymous 2006-03-23 21:38

Eurobeat is actually for Japanese consumption only, since it's only sold in Japan for some crazy wacky reason.

Eurobeat =/= Eurodance

Eurobeat reminds me of that Austin Powers movie with the Dutch guy in the gold stretch suit.

Name: Anonymous 2006-05-30 5:27

you've gotta be kidding me. I was going to post a thread of this just now. Anyways, I've been a huge eurobeat fan for a good year and a half and have a legit playlist of 2058+ eurobeat tracks by some kick ass artists that go WAAAY beyond Initial D crap (which isn't bad). Eurobeat is win, so gtfo. :).

Passion is not a eurobeat keyword. You fail.
