Goa / Infected Mushroom

Anyone listen to these guys?  It's Israeli trance/techno, or Goa.  The thing is, they have actual musical talent, so it's not endless loops or samples.

When it comes to Goa, I like Astral Projection a lot. But its not like i listen to Goa a lot :(

check on shpongel(sp?) sometime.  esp. the track, "Divine Moments of Truth"   i used to have a bunch of goa/psy records, but i haven't listened to goa in A LONG time.  if you're just getting into the genre though, definitely buy compilation cds as not a lot of goa is on vinyl or even released in mass amounts.

personally though, i never liked infected mushroom, albeit they may have changed.  however, back around '99 they were producing much more psy trance stuff than actual goa.

Infected Mushroom isn't bad; I especially recommend their single "Birthday EP". But I generally prefer Talamasca when I want to listen to Goa.

I think infected msuhroom are pretty damn cool, especially converting vegetarians and the supervisor (ie. their newer stuff),  I don't like their older stuff that much.
Koxbox are good too, not sure whether that's goa or psytrance or whatever, I suck at genres.

I have heard some astral projection too, but I didn't really like it as much as koxbox or IM.

I just noticed i had some Talamasca stuff on my comp, called "talamasca & friends" i'll check it out.

My favorite is I Wish (Skazi Remix).  A single, I think.

yep. just found a random cd of theirs at a store that was going out of business. best 75 cents i've spent all year.
