I liked the few one's I actually could download (the one in zips). When trying to download the mp3-files, Grospixel's server says all the bandwith's been used. Or something like that, I don't know french.

>2 damn the bandwith is busted, the name of the game are still in english anyway you just scrool down the page reading the title of the song.

i suggest you go back someday, it's worth it.

I suppose if someone didn't know about http://ocremix.org/, there might be folks who don't know about http://vgmix.com/ or http://vgmusic.com/. VGMix is like OCRemix, but not as exclusive; meaning there's more variety, but it may not be terribly "good". VGMusic is the Videogame Music Archive, which has MIDI files of a -lot- of videogame songs, and it grows by the day.

dtm.ac -> VGMusic ha a lot of crappy Conversions so i always go to this site because the average quality is much better + much more tunes (not only VGM though.. Anime JRock everything, use search engine or read descriptions)

If you're a metal and metroid fan, I recommend http://metroidmetal.com

Good, solid tracks, all of them.

I do believe that this thread needs more Minibosses.

I do beleive The Minibosses are overrated and The Advantage is better.

does anyone know a good MOD site for Video Game music?

Name: Anonymous 2005-01-05 14:45

Hrmph.
Why is it just limited to the NES, SNES, and PS? The Genesis music was just as good...

Yeah.  Like, ten years ago.  I hate the passage of time.

C64 had the best music. I have some tracks credited to "Moby," I wouldn't be surprised to find that's where he got his start.

neither would I, a lot of electronic artists started making music on old PCs and trackers. (However, I bet it's another person with the name)

Nobuo Uematsu formed a metal band called The Black Mages. They take his songs from the Final Fantasy series and metal them up good. http://www.square-enix.co.jp/music/uematsu/

They hardly 'metal' them up.. more like turn them into crappy pseudo-rock.

Agreed. C64 music is the best I've heard from an early system.
