When investing in a speculative bubble you need to carefully monitor the stock and move your money around quickly when there are signs of trouble, the current sudden rise and dip means that most likely it will continue downwards or remain stagnant for a while. If it recovers and continues its upwards trend you can always buy in later.

Tesla's market cap is now half the size of Ford and Tesla. Tesla is expected to sell 40000 of the Model S this year while Ford usually sells something like 5 million cars a year.

Tesla is not the only company with a successful electric car with 36000 project sales for 2014 and over 70000 worldwide.

The main purpose of investing in TSLA is to ride the bubble and get out when it bursts before the inexperienced investors do, it is a highly risky strategy and you must know what you are doing.
