Ok, so I was working at a restaurant and some Muslim dude with 9 children who tore up the restaurant pretends to pay for the meal for him and his demon spawnlings. Leaves no tip at all [what a loser]. It gets worse: Then he starts flailing his tongue and screaming about how he changed his mind on the non-existent tip and wants his cash back [ALL OF IT]. The bill amount AND the non-existent tip!
I've thought about this as length (obviously) and here are some outcomes I've come up with:
#1 Guy demands non-existent tip returned. I don't say a damn thing and hand over $20, pretending he left it. Guy leaves, manager doesn't even know the guy robbed me, I keep my job.
#2 Guy demands non-existent tip returned. I made a big fucking ruckus and refuse. I get fired on the spot and probably can't even put it on any future applications.
#3 Guy demands non-existent tip returned. I give the money, but make it clear the guy didn't leave a tip. Manager lets me finish the night and fires me at the end.
I chose #3 like a dumb-ass. It's sad, but right now I wish I had picked #1. The manager was a dick about it too. He seemed almost apologetic, but he played the "my hands are tied here" card, saying it was policy that anyone who even gets accused of stealing is immediately let go. So even though a walking stereotype of a terrorist is tearing through this place, I have to be fired so that they can be seen as "Politically correct".
