Dress safe and look smart
* Check for loose small parts like buttons and bows which may be choking hazards for children.
* Buy clothes that fit your child now. Oversized clothes may cause your child to fall, trip, be burnt or get trapped.
* Choose safer fasteners like snaps, buttons or velcro, instead of drawstrings when getting clothes for young children.
* Do wash new clothes before wearing to remove any remaining traces of chemicals.

Restaurant Staff : "As a new staff member at a restaurant, I was briefed on workplace health and safety issues."
Man : "What was the first thing you learnt?"
Restaurant Staff : "Never to eat from the restaurant kitchen because of what went into the pots!"
______________________________________________________________
Man : "Have there been accidents in your restaurant kitchen, considering that's where the hot stoves, boiling water and slippery floor are?"
Manager : "None whatsoever.
However, injuries happen frequently outside the kitchen."
Man : "Caused by...?"
Manager : "The angry chef."
The angry chef with an pan screaming to customers : "OK! Who else has a problem with my cooking?!"

We can dance if we want to
We can leave your friends behind
'Cause your friends don't dance and if they don't dance
Well they're no friends of mine.

I love this song. It's too bad that the 90's are dead and they want their "cone-hats" back.

Gas Cylinder Safety Tips
• Do not keep cylinders exposed to sun, rain dust and heat.
• Make sure the cylinders are properly secured and are kept in an upright position.
• Keep a distance of at least 1-2 metres between your gas cylinder and any heat source. Do not have any electrical equipment or other sources of ignition near the cylinders.
• Do not let anyone work on any LPG installation unless they are suitably trained and competent to do the work.
• When changing your gas cylinder, ensure that there is no naked flame nearby and the gas stove is switched off.
• Do not smoke when changing cylinders.
• Change the rubber hose every two years and the regulator every five years.
• Ensure that your LPG cylinders and accessories have the safety mark.
• Always buy your LPG gas and its accessories from authorized dealers only.
• When buying a refilled gas cylinder, reject any cylinder that is not in good condition.
