It's schoolwork.  I should bring my dishes to the school and wash them there.  If the school makes students do schoolwork at home and call it homework, then I can say I'm doing schoolwork at school.  "These dishes?  Oh my parents gave me schoolwork."

Going a bit further, maybe anger makes you more active, more likely to take risks and stand up for yourself, however anger also makes you more likely to be irrational, more likely to take unnecessary risks and act unethically. Wouldn't it be better to emulate the positive qualities of anger and not the negative?

You are absolutely correct. Homework is as excessive as it is bullshit. Cheat only half of the time. If you are lucky enough to find one, do all of your book reports using "cliff-notes" or google for the summary of books. Google for how to count in binary and nines by hand. The purpose of homework is to cover everything the teacher was too lazy to teach you. Schools only get funding if the students are are in class and good at passing tests. I know how it is. It would take me 6 hours to do my homework every night. Once again, there is no shame in cheating or doubling up with a classmate to get this work done. It's classwork because you are too classy for this shit and your parents are too stupid to help you finish it. There never seems to be enough free time to finish the massive projects teachers expect you to pay to build. My parents aren't rich but they don't give a @#$%.

Sí, Death Note es bastante insufrible, pero en general te encontrarás en todo el manga/anime personajes como L, que son muy guays y guapos y hacen cosas que a los niños les parece super total crazy, como andar descalzo, y a la vez ser super detective millonario. Si no te interesa pensar en lo que hay detrás de la historia (o sea sus fallos) pues simplemente es una historia sin más.
