SFBE, a freelancer cardboard box dweller who wrote crap-posts about Nintendo, passed away Wednesday in Virginia.
On Tuesday, SFBE sent out an e-mail to several Nintendo websites he had once visited. He said he would no longer be able to troll or take on more rent-boy assignments because he would be dead.
Some of those forum member thought he might be joking, or that some prankster had hacked his XBLA account again, But 4chan's 4ct said in the e-mail thread that he had called up the police station in SFBE's town and heard back that he had killed himself.
(I reached out to the sheriff’s department in Virginia this morning and was able to confirm that SFBE passed away on Wednesday.)
By all accounts SFBE was a enthusiastic Halo fanboy and HIV positive, a talented-less troll and a pleasant bum.
