You think that's bad, we had to watch literally nothing but 9/11 footage for weeks. Cue our idiot consumer culture celebs horning in, talking about how they felt about it, the embarrassing musical tributes (lots of them, with stars you might have once respected) and all of this over a bunch of rubble in a city that most people in the midwest don't even like anyway. Then once Bill O'Reilly and Wolf Blitzer have raped the loving corpses of these "heroes" to death and our poo poo-for-brains prez got his approval rating through the roof, we were geared up to go to war against a country that had done nothing to us.
CNN, Fox and MSNBC and all the others, milking this thing like a club kid on a triple-stack of E on some gloryhole action. Then we, the public, are told to respect the loving dead people we are using as a state prop and to not question our glorious nation's war against abstract concepts.
As an American, I also sincerely apologize you missed your cartoons too. It's bullshit over here, but in other countries? Downright rude.

I missed a morning episode of pokemon and the afternoon episode of the Simpsons when this happened. Damn right I'm pissed off. I can't do anything about it.
This nation tried to play nice but terrorists forced it to be all "Big Brother".
Fuck off you religious bastards, your God fucked us over badly.
Even had the nerve to leave behind a cross to prove that he
caused it.
