i've seen the posts on textboards, and i doubt admins or mods lurk this place.

Aiyo no need argue lar, IOC says "This is my olympic, i say disqualified means disqualified lar, u tak suka, u keluar". If they feel unjust, can feel free to boycott next olympic but as if IOC will care as the crowds is with them.

But kesian those players especially CHINA player as they are just following order, clearly their coach/higher up play the major roles for formulating this tactic to help their country won more medal, but when things goes wrong those CHINA higher up quickly turn their guns and push all the blame to the players. I think that is the main reason they choose to retire, rather than become puppet + scapegoat.
