See if they only made them more bloated and CPU/Ram/space intensive, we the linux guys could have even more powerful computers for gaming and 3d rendering etc. People would just run out and buy better computers and hardware and even me with 50 programs running ive barely touched the ram or cpu.

When you manage to get a windows game running properly on a linux machine its not meant to run on, Its performance is unbelievably better. You dont even need to close your already running programs.
