I'm not bad apart from it's seemingly impossible to find anywhere decent to note house to. Landlords all seem to be shapeshifting lizards who magically want more money whenever I get close to finding somewhere.

About your landlords. When they ask you what do you do for a living: don't tell them you're a musician. Make up something, tell them your a trader, for instance. They believe a musician can't pay the rent.
