Kareha is not text only, nerd.
Kareha has both an imageboard and a textbbs mode. The imageboard mode looks like Futaba. The textbbs mode looks like a textboard.
However, you can actually enable image posting in textboard mode.

I like how both Shiichan and Futallaby's pages say they're dead and to use Wakaba/Kareha, yet 4chan still uses derivatives of both.
