It is part of a project to digitize books. But they are even including bits of images that have apparent text. I just saw an image of part of a wooden post with a house number on it. A few days ago, I saw a set of nails in a board which apparently look like 1111111.

I can understand Google using the masses to read house numbers (because they're evil and stuff), but I don't see why the control word is so stupid. It allows a Hamming distance of 2 or 3. Why not use an actual English word, or a word that resembles one, instead of rscampt or ftorpta?
