He breathed too much and reverse-suffocated. He was found dead in his apartment this morning. Scientists weren't aware that this was possible up until now, but apparently it is possible to have too much air. Police are currently investigating the situation. At this point, it is unknown whether it was an accidental death or a suicide. Homicide has been ruled out as a possibility.
