Just once, but I appealed and was allowed back. It was when the spam filters on world4ch were going crazy and banning everyone. Every ban on the textboards is a permaban, and if you're banned on the textboards you can't access the imageboards either. It's true, a mod told me. Pretty brutal if you ask me.

Well the only posters on world4ch who really need to be banned are the spambots. It makes sense that they'd be perma-banned.

Captcha would be annoying, but perhaps they could add another text field (like the ``IGNORE THIS OK'' one), only make it look more like a legitimate text field, but give a warning to legitimate users, hopefully catching more spambots and not pestering real posters.

It was an event when the /soc/mod came to /a/ and decided that all lolies were banned.
