I'm gonna say more on this.
I had a friend get busted for drug dealing. He came and met us after he'd been down the station, (I was in the house when they busted in).
They said that they would drop all charges if he gave them the name of the guy above him.
I've been arrested enough, and know how much of a cunt the cops are to know what bullshit this is.
He was ready to throw the guy under the bus. I told him don't be such a fucking idiot. I got him to get his phone out, and ring the guy above him right there in the pub, and tell him he'd been busted and to not call him again. Because you don't fucking grass lad, not ever.
Know what happened?
Fuck all. He got a caution, and that's that.

I suppose some people will be saying "But the cops are great, they look after us, blah blah blah etc".
They are cunts. When I got sent down, they arrested me while drunk, they interviewed me, I was being a smartass, as I always fucking am (even more so since this, every time), they stopped the tape and said Look, We're gonna start the tape again in a second, and we do, we want you to say when we asked you why you did it, that you did it because you thought you would get away with it.
Now, stopping the tape is illegal, and completely not cool man...
But I was drunk off my ass. I had drunk...half a bottle of red, half a bottle of white, half litre of vodka, and a few beers. They actually read that out in court, and I heard one of the women taking the minutes gasp, fucking lol. Anyway.
I was leathered. I had been in there a while, they said they were gonna keep me in there unless I said that...so like a fucking fool, I did.
Come the day of court, crown court mind, not magistrates, what was the one quote of mine they read out in court? It was that. What they'd told me to say when they illegally stopped the tape.
Graff had been a bit of a problem in my town, and to be honest, I was fairly prolific, and I knew they were looking for a scapegoat. I just wished they'd not been such cunts about it...the one quote they read out of mine was what they fed me after illegally stopping the tape. And I'll tell you this.
When that line was read out, the judge's head snapped up, and we looked each other in the eye, and I fucking knew then he was sending me down.
I guess I had it coming, but still, they did go about it in a cuntish way.
You know what was funny? My mother works at the courts. I guess it isn't that funny. But I knew there were women she had some pointless work rivalry with in the court when I was getting sentenced.

Now, my lawyer must have known I was going down, because he made out to me that the maximum sentence for lying to the cops about your name (after being caught three times like a drunken fool) was 25 years.
I was expecting at least, a long stretch.
After the judges head snapped up, I don't remember much, it seemed quick. I remember him handing out the sentence though.
First charge. "Criminal damage, guilty, I sentence you to one month".
At this point, I knew I was going down. While he started reading this out, I had put my head down, at this point...I put my head up, expecting a lot worse, and looked him in the eyes.
"For perverting the course of justice," Which to be honest was a completely trumped up fucking charge, normally giving a false name is PC obstruct, but they claimed the dude who caught me was CID so it was perverting the course of justice...was some random cop on his way to work...anyway.
"Two months".
I was expecting a few years, so I let out a sigh of relief. Those cuntish women who knew my mother and wanted to watch my downfall looked really disappointed. They wanted to see me break down in tears.
I didn't, my girl did.
God this is all so long ago.
Anyway, yeah, cops are pretty much dick holes. “Justice” is an idea that does not exist outside of literature, comics, and other mediums of entertainment.
