If your American and your grandmother Irish, why do you consider yourself Irish-american? surely you are American?
Or is the American part not as fashionable? personally, even though i have an american mother and an English father (I carry both passports) and now live in the states, I class myself as English as that is where I grew up.
Irish is not a race, it is a nationality, what really is ridiculous! is have any of these "Irish Americans" had ever actually to Ireland!
