People lying on their resumes

If "educational credentials" and "qualifications" are so necessary how are "unskilled" people able to lie their way into high paying jobs and successfully perform them? Our whole society is built on lies and greed.

We are forced to lie more and more in order to keep up with the advances of the unrepentant liars.
