I recently played Chrono Trigger because I heard good things about it on the internet, but it was rather disappointing. It was too easy, too generic, the plot was boring, the sprites were shitty, the items and leveling and customization was extremely linear, and overall, it felt like I was playing some half-assed project made in RPG Maker XP. I prefer games like Etrian Odyssey or Elona.
