I buy stuff when I need it, not when I'm told to. I bought a new car in 2008 when nobody was buying new cars because they thought all of the Big Three were going bankrupt, because my old Mercedes diesel died and needed thousands of dollars in repairs. I got my Sony Vaio in 2009, when nobody was buying computers, because my old Asus notebook wouldn't even run Vista, let alone Windows 7, and I was wasting even more time than I needed to waiting for my machine to respond, even after many fruitless hours trying to streamline it. I paid $1000 for a new bed a week ago because I was waking up every morning with raging neck pain and headaches, and the model I liked the most happened to be on sale at Mancini's. That's how I think. My days of looking in the weekly circulars are long over.
