Well, they are interdependent.  That said, even for skilled people, these things are a lot of work.  It is far less work (and probably cheaper) to have a part-time job at Walmart and buy some cooked rabbit, than it is to raise it and cook it yourself.  This is why the economy is scaled the way it is.  I really liked the idea of having people work in the same/neighboring stores and just making it a cool atmosphere to work at.  Much better usefulness/effort ratio to just do things like that.

Because although there won't be much asked of you, there needs to be some contribution to make this work.  It doesn't have to be much, but no community will work out if nobody does anything.  And short of family, few communities last with asymmetric workloads.
