Symptoms: a discomfort in the throat, sort of a dry feeling that can't be quenched. Becoming a pain on one side of the throat, related to the back of the nose dripping into the throat. Sore throat abates while congested nose on one side worsens. Chills experienced during two nights. Nose needs blowing. Nose remains congested for many days. A dry cough develops from irritation in the windpipe. The cough becomes non-stop and compulsive. In a few days, the coughing becomes less compulsive but more phlegmy. From about two weeks from the initial symptoms, the coughing and need to blow nose abates.
