I do not know, but I do know there is only so far that this "Arab Spring" nonsense can go. There is a lot of cultural supporting in the Arab World for their nutty, crusading religion. Do you actually believe the Imams in Iran kill and oppress all those people with just a few guys with machine guns?
The Greece situation will end with a bastardized version of the EU that will socialize the banker losses (up to US$4 trillion) as much as possible. Socialized cost means that the bulk of the effects must strike the lowest classes.
And it does not matter if the people put up with cuts or not. There is no magic money machine. Cuts will be implemented regardless; anything like a real debate will involve
where the cuts are imposed, not
if they are imposed. And the 'where' will usually fall upon the less powerful classes. Government workers in Greece really have no power, hence their benefits will get cut. They can riot all they like.
