You are wandering through the tundra. You have not eaten, drank or slept in 20 hours. Your only solace and peace of mind is in putting one foot in front of the other, trudging forward. You're making slow progress and night is falling. You know that the chances of you surviving the night are negligible at best.
You stumble and fall face first into the snow. It must be uncomfortable, but in your current state it feels like falling onto a nice fluffy mattress. With an immense effort, you lift your head and look straight ahead. The sun is setting to your left, casting half of everything you see with an unnatural looking orange colour. Everything else is already enveloped in shadow.
And, standing right in front of you, its majestic monochrome fur outlined in gold on its leftward flank, is a giant panda. It is staring right into your eyes.
