There's plenty of attractive women in historical art. But the Mona Lisa model doesn't happen to be one of them.

I don't find makeup attractive either. I like a pretty face, and makeup is like a shitty airbrush effect at best, and drag queen monster whore effect at worst.

Mona Lisa isn't meant to be beautiful in the 'normal' sense. The whole appeal of the painting is that it is one of the first examples of an artist having a 'fetish' and expressing it (he obviously founds him/her beautiful and worthy of a portrait). It heralded the cult of individuality in visual art that we all know and love.
