It might not work for the wallets of the HMO's but it works for every one else. Should the police department, fire department, and public libraries start charging us thousands of dollars for bullshit that's not actually worth thousands of dollars and demand we have "insurance" to cover a bunch of bullshit?
So if someone steals my bike and I report it, the police will only investigate the crime if I have "police insurance" from some private company.

At some of the stupidest workplaces, they time how long you take a shit. If you exceed your shitting cap, then you are penalized. For Christ's sake, if they are afraid that people are artificially prolonging their shitting to avoid work, then just have a supervisor ensure that they are in the shitting room and not out back smoking or something, and just fire the ones that are. A man's got to shit what a man's got to shit.
