adapting to god/Jesus sensitivities

You may have noticed that some people are very uncomfortable when you say things such as, "oh my god", or "what in the name of Christ is going on in here".  You see, the Old Testament contains something called the Tent Commandments, and one of them has to do with saying "the lord's name in vain".  Now, to my understanding, "in vain" means for unproductive purposes, which means that idiots praying for rain in Texas should go to hell, thier own Texas hell that traitorously separated from the union, but most people think it means that you shouldn't say things like I had at the start of my post, what people would call swearing or cursing.

So maybe I think it would be OK to say instead, "where the Satan did I put my watch", and "what the demon nipples is this", shit like that.

They fail to read their own religious texts carefully, then assert their beliefs according to whatever they can remember.

We have already had instances of "oh my RedCream", or "what in the name of RedCream is going on in here", so I believe you know what stability point has been reached in the cultural graph of /lounge/.
