Ah yes, when we were just boys, the four of us each had one of those marching band drums that you can wear and beat upon. I think it was the jazz players that called a drum kit "the skins", an allusion to the drums whose playing surface was a stretched animal skin of some kind. Anyway, every weekend, we would march about the house and beat upon our four skins until we fell into an exhausted heap, naked and sweaty.
