I genuinely want to know what it is about this band that attracts so many people to them, because they have absolutely no appeal to me. With most bands that I don't like, I can see how some people could like them, but for Radiohead, I just don't see it.

A lot of late twenties/thirtysomething people in England got into Radiohead as a teenager, where whining emotional stuff is just what you need sometimes. If you hear some music at a special time in your life, you'll always have a soft spot for it. I'm sure you can think of examples for yourself. One of mine is this.

I do like radiohead, but everything after OK computer I'm not as bothered about, although they do still knock out the odd good song.

How can you be hostile toward a musician because you don't think they're that good? Do you walk into furniture stores and say to random customers, "HEY ASSHOLE, THAT SOFA IS TOO DARK, WHY WOULD YOU BUY THAT SHIT YOU FAGGOT?".
