Why do people like Radiohead?

ATTENTION: THIS IS NOT A TROLL THREAD!

I genuinely want to know what it is about this band that attracts so many people to them, because they have absolutely no appeal to me. With most bands that I don't like, I can see how some people could like them, but for Radiohead, I just don't see it.

and tell me what it is that you like about it, and maybe I'll be able to get it.

Don't just give snide answers like, "CUZ I SMOKE A LOT OF WEED, AND DEH SOUND GOOD WIT WEED!"

A lot of late twenties/thirtysomething people in England got into Radiohead as a teenager, where whining emotional stuff is just what you need sometimes. If you hear some music at a special time in your life, you'll always have a soft spot for it. I'm sure you can think of examples for yourself. One of mine is this.

I do like radiohead, but everything after OK computer I'm not as bothered about, although they do still knock out the odd good song.
