I'm a proud American, and I converted to Islam yesterday

It isn't at all what our media portrays it to be, I realized the west keeps this image up is because they want you all to fear us, it's unfortunate but true.

A tiny group of extremist lunatics do not represent us, they have only taken verses from the Quran out of context (just like westerners often do, thinking it's "evil") or have simply not understood them thoroughly.

I'm reading the book "Inside the Third Reich" by Alber Speer right now. Last night I was reading a passage where Hitler was waxing philosophical about Islam, saying it was a shame that the Christians won the Battle of Tours because Islam would have been the perfect religion for Germany. Basically he was saying that if Islam had conquered Europe, eventually North Europeans would have become the dominant ethnic group inside the Muslim world, taking over from Arabs, and the Jihad mentality would have fit hand in glove with natural Germanic spirit.
