You know what ruined Japanese gaming?

I never realized why I lost interest in Japa games, but now I know.... This:

I think those are supposed to be femmy males rather than females, but its hard to tell with Japan making everything female androgynous.

I also have a huge issue with Japan sexualizing every fucking genre. Usually with prepubescent girls. The Gradius spin-off series Otomedius is the most egregious of these to me since it showed even the biggest of Japanese game companies have fallen into that same pit. Leave space shooters in space with spaceships. Not flat chested pre-teen girls with rockets strapped to them shooting at other girls with rockets strapped to them.

Japanese games peaked in the 16bit era. I bought a Saturn and later a PSX but I became a PC gamer for 13 years because they sucked ass. Now that Microsoft has popularized western games on their Xbox/Xbox 360, I'm once again turning toward console gaming.

The japs do this for most of their media. All of their cartoons and games have glowing, feminine, 16 year old boys and the like.

I just do as >>2 said, PC for most things, 360 for console only games.
