high school graduates can't fix pipes

A new survey finds that today's graduates have dismal plumbing skills.  We aren't even talking about boiler installation, but something as simple as soldering a pair of copper pipes together.  Not even half could properly choose the appropriate J-pipe to put into a single T opening.

No one's asking you to go fix the sewer systems running underneath your home. Now, if you wanted to fix the tubing under your sink, that's a whole different story.

I don't understand why you are unable to distinguish between the two. In fact, you willfully ignore the difference because you want to associate home plumbing with the importance of municipal water systems to civilization. Give me a break.
