Do you brush your teeth everyday?

Name: Anonymous 2010-12-09 21:35

I don't but my teeth are still white and my breath is fantastic (I do the lick test). I find that 3 times a week is plenty enough for me.

I'm seriously starting to think this whole twice a day bullshit is just super effective marketing brainwashing done by the toothpaste\brush companies. Because only disgusting people with super bad habits like smoking and drinking coffee and fatties who eat too much sugar need to brush so much. No normal person (people like myself) need to bother with such time wasting.

I usually do but I sometimes skip a day. Also, most people could be using half of the toothpaste they use during each session. Something to consider as well.

Teeth yes, every day, but I sometime skip my shower. Like once in a week.

I never brush my teeth, I just eat and rinse my mouth with toothpaste. Sometimes the muscle under my left eye starts twitching if I eat too much toothpaste.

I'm pretty sure the queers in England don't brush their teeth everyday.

Brushing your teeth everyday is a little over-rated, as long as you don't skip a week, what is a day or two.
Same with the shower really, if you don't do anything that makes you sweat and smell, just wash your hair and voila.
Of course, if it's really hot outside, showering everyday (even more once a day) is recommended.

I try to brush them every day but sometimes I mess up and the brush ends up in my ass. It feels good.

Well, it's part marketing bullshit and part true (for some people). You have to realize everyone's teeth are different. The people who NEVER brush their teeth and never get cavities? Their enamel is extremely hard and tough so the bacteria can't do shit. Then there's some people who have very soft enamel, so even if they brush/floss their teeth all the time they're still prone to cavities, sensitivity, and other problems.

The frequency of brushing really just depends on how your teeth are composed. I have to brush/floss and rinse very often after I eat because my enamel is weak. I can't have bacteria and acid sitting in my mouth attacking my teeth all day.

Also, toothpaste is fucking useless and a waste of money. Well, except for toothpaste like Sensodyne since it actually does more than temporarily whiten your teeth. Might as well just use water since you get the same effect minus the minty breath.
