Depends upon who you ask. Most of them in the video are yuppies racing to get petty, pointless, impermanent, transient, materialistic things for themselves, their family members, and their spoiled brats that are their children.
If you ask me, I'm apathetic to it all, though I used to get pissed off at such things. But now, since we're going to be heading into the greatest economic depression in American history, a lot of these spoiled morons are going to fall by the wayside, and I personally cannot wait for that to happen.
