will humans build mile-high building

Frank Llyod Wright designed such a structure some time ago, but we have not achieved such a thing.  The mighty Sears Tower (renamed to Wachu Tahkenbout Willis Tower) is only a fraction of a mile, 1451/5280.  So, you'd need to stack 3.6 Sears Towers vertically to achieve 1 mile height.  Should we add more floors to the Sears Tower, or start from scratch?

We can build such a thing now.  However. there's no point in constructing such an edifice at this time, since you'd either have to wait a long time for elevator transport up and down the spire, or the building will be nothing but elevators to suit expected delays.

There is one being built. Perhaps each elevator will be a lounge area to pass the time going up so many feet.

Who's building a mile-high building?  Nobody is.

I saw a television show about elevators.  They have a system now using magnets that can propel elevators up and down using the same method used to propel maglev trains.  There are also systems that can move elevators from one shaft to another shaft.  Prior to these developments, the idea was for express elevators to specific floors, and ordinary elevators limited to a range of floors.

Feminazi detected. What, do you feel threatened by giant phallic buildings?

Try building your building that will reach heaven, God will stop you like he stopped Nimrod and his Tower of Babel.
