I've done the whole fucking the ex thing after breakups before. It's good because you've had a blow to your self esteem, and the fact that someone else still wants to fuck you raises it up again a little. Thing is, as soon as you're done, you just want them to GTFO. In fact, I wanted that anyway with the bird I met the other day.
Have you moved to a different city to go to college? Wondered why you don't have anyone to talk to out there. I moved about a year ago. Slowly but surely, I've started to meet some cool people around here. Strangely enough, none of them from university, more through other activities I do outside of uni, groups and stuff. I would say more but it would be too much PI.
I think you're going to be OK. It's wise to realise that what you did with your ex isn't what you need. You're very objective about all this.
