For the last few days I've been talking to this girl that I met on OKcupid. I'd say that she is pretty into me or at least was. For the sake of the post I should mention that she's pretty hot. 8/10 or something. So we're talking on the phone this evening and we got on the subjects of our exes. She mentions that she dated a boy in high school who turned out to be a "big perv into anime porn" I don't know why I did this but after her anecdote I gave a lengthy response in defense of hentai. Nothing too serious and I think I was pretty graceful about it but in retrospect it's pretty funny that I defended a pornography genre.
It was basically something to the tune of, "Well a lot of people look at 'anime porn'. I suppose you could call it perverted but I think that most men commonly are perverted to some degree. I don't want to denigrate what you're saying. I'm sure he himself was a perv. But I have to admit, I've checked out anime porn and I'm not socially inept or have girl problems.
