Guys, I "met" a truly exceptional man from Craig's List of all places and to have this happen to me is so improbable I still can't believe all this is real. It's really a wonderful feeling. We exchange e-mails daily, everything is above-board and strictly platonic and may remain so which is fine or it may end up in the bedroom too, but doubtful and is not heading in that direction; we haven't even met or exchanged phone #s (when should that happen?).

My question is, how realistic is it to maintain an e-mail relationship? Anyone been in one long-term and on a daily basis? My fear is that it will either be one-sided or simply go stale and our communications dwindle to nothing at some point, but he seems genuinely interested in what I have to say and I certainly value what we have, whatever that is.

A strictly e-mail relationship is doomed to fail, send him to /lounge/ and give him a tripcode so you can communicate more conviently and openly.

Yeah, I noticed. Oh well. I don't give a fuck today. There's more important things to worry about than some loser on a BBS.
