That's simply not true.
I find it funny that the americans have a different IQ scale to the English. Theirs gives higher points to lower intelligence. I wonder why that is.

IQ is not exactly a true accurate scale of intelligence though. I have heard that people who have taken IQ tests three months prior, take another one and the difference could be anywhere from 5-20 points, which are of course, dependent on various factors.
And yes, internationally, there are different scales depending upon each nation. Perhaps a completely reworked, international standard is in need of a draft (unless there already is one/in the works that I'm not currently aware of).
As for obesity, I've heard that Australia also suffers from a similar epidemic there, and I've heard its parliament has had quite a number of deliberations on the matter, as has congress had here.
