Did Australia miss the Age of Enlightenment or something? Also, it mentioned that it strives for Australia to be a republic. Isn't there already a movement in Australia for a republican form of government that is disassociated completely from the crown? Seems counterproductive if you'd ask me. But I don't live in Australia, so I could be wrong on that point.
