Society is oversexualised

There's not enough hard work to be done, and being passionate about any higher endeavor gets you branded a nerd or a freak.  All that's left is to consume…food, entertainment, sex.  Such is life in America.

The three basic drives: Ingestion, Excretion and Reproduction.

Ingestion: a socially acceptable drive to dispaly in public - even has ritual xpectations attached to it that groups should undertake this drive together (eg Thanksgiving). Few taboos associated with this drive (eg cannibalism, religious constraints - pork).

Excretion: a socially unaccetable drive to dispaly in public (separate stalls for toilets). Associations with disease, dirt and waste. Also the requirement to adopt a vulnerable pose and reveal the genitals in order to excrete has psychological ramifications. Many taboos associated with this drive (eg Coprophilia, social anxiety, personal hygiene etc)

Reproduction: a socially unaccetable drive to dispaly in public, yet each one of us is public evidence of a private sexual act. Many variations on this drive, some with taboo issues (eg necrophilia, bestiality, incest, homosexuality)
