i would definately have to say that the jews have contributed more to society than any other group of people on the planet. they are a group that for many years have been scattered around the planet and yet they have always preserved their identity through the thick and thin.

They also financed Mussolini's regime in Italy, but mostly to test out how corporatism (fascism) would work, and the people there were given a rather generous amount of civil liberties and privacy. A slight variation of this system now governs the USA, albeit under a modified republican (republic) form rather than dictatorial.
