I wonder how much we're wasting on this stupid crap while brown people starve in Afrca. 350 million already from what I read. Could probably wipe out hunger in the third world for what this will cost. And that oil wouldn't hurt a fucking thing if they just left it to dissipate naturally. Oh no! 250,000 gallons of oil in a 10,00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 gallon ocean! That'll never dissipate or anything!

Why hasn't a single news source basically come out and admit the obvious, there's been almost zero eco damage to date from this thing?

Anyone who lived through the 90s knows that the solution to all problems is to get the crew of an oil rig to drill into something and plant a nuclear bomb.  Why did we need Russia to tell us this now?  And why didn't we listen?
