Uh, dude, the reason why firefox is popular is because of the customization. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/14228
Like extensions and stuff.
It's not a standalone thing, it's a community effort.

Firefox is open source if you want to improve it- you can. If you payme enough I'll make the changes you desire.
I sometimes use Opera as well, but there's no equivalent to NoScript for Opera. Adblocking also works better with Firefox. But damn is it a memory hog.

Because it's faster and doesn't use up anywhere near as much resources as FF while still being just as customizable. And it's also more secure from spyware and pop-up ads than FF too.

Does AdBlockPlus and NoScript work with it? Also, how well do Firefox extensions work on it?

Opera has a terrible UI. None of its inbuilt functionality works as well as Firefox's add-ons. It is a bloated mess full of halfass semi-functional features and knock-offs of things that are better as stand alone software, like their pointless and terrible torrent tracker. There are only two types of people that advise anybody to use Opera - paid shills and trolls. Are those the type of people you want to listen to?

I already have Opera, but I don't use it much. Though it isn't a memory hog like Firefox is, but meh. Anyway, I was asking the guy about K-melon, not Opera.

It's a lot different to how you install in FF. You have to download the source files and then tinker with them in some directory.
