Actually I think a lot of 1st world countries could benefit from a 1 or 2 child policy. Well, minus the killing off of female babies, that just creates an even bigger mess.
overpopulation is a problem to which even the wealthy contribute.
i do believe that there needs to be limits set on procreation, as it's clear that much of our problems are compounded -- instigated, in fact -- by a population that's outpacing supply of resources (natural resources, jobs, etc.).
