iPad

Here's an honest look at the ipad:

You've got a system with bluetooth, no usb, a microphone, some simple speakers, a horrible resolution, wifi or 3g if you pay more, a bit of storage, absolutely no hardware compatibility. It's completely unchangable. It's got a touch screen.

You know what this sounds like, to me? A phone without a sim card, only bigger.

It'll probably sell like crazy and spawn a lot of clones, think of the iPod/iPhone.

And all the other tablet computers are doomed to be called clones, even the ones that came before the iPad. Nothing will be called a tablet pc or some such any more, everything is an iPad, no matter who produced it.

"Did you hear about Microsoft's new iPad? It's such an iPad ripoff. Hey lets rub our iPads together!"
